1. How long does shipping take?
Processing: 1‑3 business days (mattresses); 3‑7 business days (beds, guardrails). Shipping: 5‑10 days for small items; beds & mattresses via freight: 7‑20 business days (contiguous US).
2. What are shipping costs?
Calculated at checkout. Beds & mattresses may have separate freight charges. Free standard shipping on qualifying orders.
3. Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Currently, only to the contiguous 48 states.
4. Do items require assembly?
-
Children's beds: Yes, require assembly (attaching headboards, footboards, side rails, slats). Follow included instructions. Two people recommended.
-
Guardrails: Yes, require installation onto the bed frame. Verify compatibility with the specific bed model before use.
-
Mattresses: No assembly (unroll and allow to expand 24‑48 hours).
5. What safety standards do your products meet?
-
Children's beds (full‑size cribs): Comply with 16 CFR Part 1219 (effective Aug 1, 2026, incorporating ASTM F1169‑25).
-
Children's beds (non‑full‑size cribs): Comply with 16 CFR Part 1220 (ASTM F406).
-
Toddler beds (age 15+ months): Comply with 16 CFR Part 1217 (ASTM F2710).
-
Portable bed rails: Comply with 16 CFR Part 1270 (ASTM F3816‑17) and bear permanent warning statements.
-
Mattresses: Comply with 16 CFR Part 1632 (cigarette ignition) and 16 CFR Part 1633 (open flame). Pass criteria: char length ≤2 iches per cigarette (1632); peak heat release ≤200 kW and total heat ≤15 MJ (1633).
-
Crib mattresses: Comply with 16 CFR Part 1241 (ASTM F2933).
-
CPSIA chemical limits: Lead in substrate ≤100 ppm, lead in surface coating ≤90 ppm, phthalates ≤0.1%.
-
Formaldehyde: Any composite wood components meet CARB ATCM Phase 2 limits (e.g., MDF ≤0.11 ppm).
6. Do children's products need tracking labels and registration cards?
Yes. Per 16 CFR Part 1130, durable infant/toddler products must have permanent tracking labels (manufacturer name, production date, batch number, country of origin) on product and packaging, plus a postage‑paid product registration card. The registration card must clearly state that consumer information is used only for safety alerts or recall notifications and will not be used for any other purpose.
7. Do I need a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) for children's beds?
Yes. For any product intended for children 12 and under, we provide a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on third‑party testing at a CPSC‑accepted laboratory. The CPC certifies compliance with the applicable CPSC safety rule (16 CFR 1219/1220/1217/1270), CPSIA lead/phthalate limits, and CARB Phase 2 requirements.
8. Is a guardrail suitable for all children's beds?
No. First confirm compatibility with the child bed manufacturer. Our guardrails comply with 16 CFR Part 1270, but they are only one part of a safe sleep environment. Never use guardrails with bunk bed top bunks, loft beds, or beds not specifically designed to accommodate them.
9. How do I care for my mattress?
Use a waterproof mattress protector. Rotate every 3‑6 months (unless one‑sided). Do not remove the law label. For bed‑in‑a‑box models, allow 24‑48 hours for full expansion. Keep away from open flames.
10. What is California Proposition 65?
Some products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm (e.g., formaldehyde in composite wood, lead in paints). When applicable, a Proposition 65 warning will be displayed on product pages and packaging.
11. What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and financing (Affirm/Klarna).
